[concept]
The building was abandoned after its construction was discontinued in 2012 and has remained a skeleton. The project plans to utilize the existing structure and to add value with the updated technology and materials. Using a life style branding approach to embody the new values and give inspiration to customers by regenerating the building into a new shopping complex.
We proposed 6 design concepts for this shopping mall:
1. Rooted in the local and suburban environment
2. Original retailing rather than depending on national chain stores
3. Providing a relaxed social gathering space for young customers such as Millennials and Generation Z.
4. Appling natural motifs such as light, water, wind and plants to the installation arts and the mall design.
5. Realizing an attractive design with a cost-effective approach: using construction materials, exposed structures or unique use of common products.
6. Cutting edge visual expression for customer experience
