House Sitges I

The starting point is an 18th-century farmhouse. The guiding principle of the design lies in leaving the materials untreated and in their natural state. Therefore, the intervention focused on the renovation of the walls and finishes, as the house required immediate refurbishment. The wooden beams are left exposed, accentuating the materiality of the visible construction element. In contrast to these, the mustard-colored hydraulic tile flooring engages in a play of harmonious and tranquil contrasts. After the project, the house retains its period charm with touches of color and modernity, allowing it to be inhabited with great comfort.
